Grandma’s buttercream cake with an upgrade. Our Buttercream Chardonnay displays a rich creamy texture of tropical fruit, with vanilla notes and a kiss of sweetness on the palate. Smooth and creamy with hints of vanilla and succulent pear.
After sitting peacefully in stainless steel tanks, our Chardonnay undergoes secondary malolactic fermentation, which really brings out the buttercream we all know and love. Finally, we allowing this chardonnay to rest in oak barrels, to add complexity and nuance. It’s like these grapes wanted to be there all along.
Grandma loved to cook for the family, but baking was her specialty. Everyone loved her delicious buttercream cake. When making our flagship wine, we set out to create the perfect wine pairing to Grandma’s famous recipe. We knew it needed to be buttery and creamy, with a zing of freshness, a tinge of sweetness, and a hint of vanilla. We like to think Grandma would be proud.
We recommend pairing your Buttercream Chardonnay with a seafood dish, a cheese board with creamy brie especially, or your favorite dessert. It is no surprise Buttercream is a fan favorite!
